WHY GLINT

Preventive care, practised properly.

Most general dentistry is delivered on a fifteen-minute clock. At Glint the hygiene visit is a diagnostic appointment: we look at your bite, your airway, your gum architecture and the wear patterns on your enamel, because those are the signals that predict what the next decade will cost you.

A healthy mouth is the foundation of physical wellness, and prevention is the best investment you will ever make in your teeth. That means fewer emergencies, smaller interventions, and a clear picture of where you actually stand — explained in plain language, with photographs, not jargon.

01

Unhurried by design

Longer appointments so nothing gets missed and nothing gets rushed.

02

One clinician throughout

Dr. Elledge sees you at every visit — no rotating providers, no lost context.

03

Diagnostics, not guesswork

3D scans and intraoral photography so you see exactly what we see.

04

Comfort as standard

Blankets, eye masks, nitrous and sedation available at any appointment.

Two Questions

Are you due for a visit?

Answer two quick questions and we'll tell you what we'd recommend — and roughly how urgent it is.

Question 1 of 2

Last time you saw a dentist

Six months suits most people, but not everyone. There's no single right interval — what matters is your gum health, your grinding habits and how long it's actually been. A guide, not a diagnosis. Dr. Elledge sets your real interval after examining you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Services included in general dentistry.

As your primary dental care provider, we handle nearly all of your oral health needs — preventing, diagnosing and treating the common problems before they become expensive ones.

01

Exams and Cleanings

Routine care catches problems while they’re still small, and a professional cleaning removes the plaque, tartar and surface staining that brushing genuinely cannot reach. Unhurried, and with time to talk through what we find.

How an unhurried visit works →

02

Digital X-Rays

A detailed view of the teeth, jaw and bone structure — diagnosing what isn’t visible to the naked eye, at a fraction of the radiation of film. Taken only when there’s a reason to take them.

The technology we use →

03

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Modern composite materials bonded directly to the tooth, shaded to disappear against the enamel beside them. Durable and aesthetic, with no metal and no wedge effect on the remaining walls.

04

Fluoride and Sealants

Preventive treatments that strengthen enamel and seal the grooves where decay usually starts — particularly worthwhile for children and for any adult with cavity-prone anatomy.

05

Gum Health Management

We monitor and treat gum disease at every stage, because untreated inflammation is what leads to bone loss and loose teeth. Charted at each visit, so change is measured rather than guessed at.

06

Emergency Dental Care

Sudden pain or dental trauma doesn’t wait. We hold time in the schedule for urgent cases and can often see you the same day — call the studio rather than sending a form.

WHOLE-BODY HEALTH

General dentistry and your overall health.

General dentistry protects more than your smile. Oral health is directly linked to overall health, with gum disease and inflammation connected to conditions like heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

Preventive care is the most powerful tool we have to keep you healthy for the long haul.

✓
Prevent costly and painful dental problems
✓
Catch early signs of decay, gum disease and oral cancer
✓
Improve your breath, comfort and appearance
✓
Support whole-body wellness
✓
Maintain confidence in your smile
EVERY AGE

Family-friendly care, for all ages.

We know how to keep young patients at ease, build healthy habits early, and guide them through each developmental milestone. Adults and seniors get the same comprehensive, age-appropriate approach — routine maintenance, restorative work or treatment planning.

No matter your age or dental history, you’ll receive the same kindness, respect and clinical care. You don’t have to have perfect teeth to come see us — you just have to start.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A wellness exam, in full.

Not a fifteen-minute look and a polish. Every new patient gets the same full workup, because you can’t plan what you haven’t properly seen.

✓
Comprehensive dental wellness exam

Teeth, gums, bite, joints and soft tissue, assessed together.

✓
3D and 2D radiographic imaging

All the images your diagnosis needs — not a fixed allowance.

✓
3D wellness scan

A digital model of your mouth we can compare against next time.

✓
Prophylactic cleaning

Scaling above and below the gumline, then polish.

✓
Fluoride application

Applied where the enamel needs it.

✓
Findings, shown to you

On screen, in your own mouth, before any plan is discussed.

WHAT IT COSTS

Two routes, both transparent.

Insured or not, you’ll know the number before we start. Nothing here is quoted after the fact.

WITH INSURANCE

We verify, file and explain it

We accept most major plans — Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and more. Benefits are checked before you arrive and the claim is filed for you, with your portion shown in writing line by line.

WITHOUT INSURANCE

Membership from $800 a year

APPOINTMENT LENGTH

Book the time, not the slot.

A hygiene visit here is a diagnostic appointment, so we schedule it like one. You’ll know the length before you arrive, and we don’t run late by design.

ESTABLISHED PATIENTS

1 hour

Cleaning, exam and any imaging we need that visit.

NEW PATIENTS

2 hours

Full records, 3D scan, wellness exam and a written plan.

INSIDE THE APPOINTMENT

What actually happens during a cleaning.

No mystery, no narration-free silence. You’ll be told what we’re doing and why at every stage — and you’ll leave knowing exactly where you stand.

01

Digital imaging

Low-radiation digital radiographs and intraoral photographs to find decay between teeth and below the gumline before it becomes symptomatic.

02

Comprehensive exam

Teeth, gums, bite, joints and soft tissue assessed together — then shown to you on screen, in your own mouth.

03

Scaling and polish

Hand instruments and an ultrasonic scaler to remove plaque and calculus above and below the gumline, gently.

04

Home care, specifically

Not generic advice — what to change based on what we actually found, so the next cleaning is easier than this one.

IN PAIN RIGHT NOW?

We hold time for emergencies.

Call the studio and we’ll get you assessed — often the same day. Dr. Elledge has fit patients in on short notice rather than sending them elsewhere.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your first visit, step by step.

01

Health history

We start with your medical background, your concerns and what you want from your teeth long term.

02

Full diagnostics

3D scan, digital radiographs and intraoral photography — a complete baseline record.

03

Wellness exam

Gums, bite, joints, airway and existing dental work assessed together, not in isolation.

04

The plan

A written plan with priorities, timing and transparent pricing. Nothing starts without your say-so.

A PERFECT FIVE

A perfect five on Google.

★★★★★

It’s the first time I’ve ever had ZERO complaints. Dr. Iana and her team are incredible — so caring, so meticulous, and they make you feel well taken care of. I’m super happy I found my dentist for life.

Diana
★★★★★

I booked a wellness exam, cleaning and whitening, and it honestly felt more like a spa day. For someone with major dental anxiety, that made all the difference.

Connie
★★★★★

I’ve been to a lot of dentists. This is by far the most skilled. I keep expecting pain or discomfort that never comes.

Questions, answered.

How often should I have a check-up?+

Every six months suits most patients, but it depends on your gum health, grinding habits and history. Some patients do better at three or four months; others are genuinely fine at nine. We'll tell you which you are rather than defaulting to the standard interval.

Do you accept dental insurance?+

Yes — we accept most major plans, including Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Benefits are checked before you arrive and we file the claim for you, with your portion shown in writing before any treatment begins. If you're uninsured, our membership plans start at $800 a year and cover your wellness exam, cleanings and imaging with no deductibles or annual maximum.

I haven't been to a dentist in years. Is that a problem?+

Not at all, and you won't get a lecture here. Most patients who've been away for a while are relieved rather than judged — we start with a full wellness exam so we both know exactly where things stand, then build a plan around what you actually want, at a pace that works for you. You don't have to have perfect teeth to come see us — you just have to start.

What if I have a dental emergency?+

Call the studio directly rather than filling out a form. We hold time in the schedule for urgent cases and can often see you the same day — Dr. Elledge has fit patients in on short notice rather than sending them elsewhere. Reach us at (512) 653-4009.

Do you see children?+

Yes. We welcome patients of every age, and know how to keep younger patients at ease while building healthy habits early. Whether it's a child's first cleaning or a teenager's first filling, they get the same unhurried, age-appropriate care as our adult patients.

How long is a hygiene appointment?+

About an hour for established patients — long enough for a cleaning, exam and any imaging we need that visit. New patients should plan on around two hours, since that first visit includes full records, a 3D scan, a complete wellness exam and a written plan.
